Year-Round School in a Year-Round World
We know that some students need more classroom time than others, and that a long summer break limits learning for some. That's why beginning this year we will be open year-round to serve our students that need additional instruction in reading writing and math.

Outside the Box Solutions
At Michigan Technical Academy, we know that every child does not learn in the same way, and we actively look for new ways to improve academic achievement. Our program is adjusted to meet the needs of the child.

Nationally-Certified High School Studies
Michigan Technical Academy High School allows students to earn a high school diploma in one of three majors: College Preparatory, Automotive Technology, and Electronics. Our program combines hands on learning with rigorous academic instruction, opening a myriad of opportunities to our graduates.

And beginning in 2008-2009, the Academy will open its dedicated Freshman Academy, an innovative "school within a school" that will enable our 9th grade students to focus on improving achievement in core academic subjects.
